Gabe Discusses Housing Costs in Chattanooga

CEO and Managing Partner Gabe Thomas recently had the chance to discuss housing prices with the Chattanooga Times Free Press. In the article, Gabe talks about ways that RP is working to make home ownership attainable for more Chattanooga-area residents.

"‘Half a million dollars was our starting number,’ Thomas said in an interview. ‘That just doesn't seem sustainable, because income's not growing to the rate that inflation had been.’

So his company, RP Homes, made a pivot, starting to think of itself as more of a ‘community developer’ focused on homes that people can afford. Some of its developments target downsizers – typically older – or young professionals who want space for their kids.”
